The Bundled Solar Power Project, developed by SolarArise India Projects Pvt Ltd, generates clean electricity through solar energy — a renewable resource. The project is a bundled activity which includes the installation of a 120 MW solar project in various states of India through special-purpose vehicles. Over the 10 years of the first crediting period, this project will replace anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases estimated to be approximately 213,089 tCO2e per year, displacing 220,752 MWh/year amount of electricity from the generation-mix of power plants connected to the Indian grid, which is mainly dominated by thermal or fossil fuel-based power plants. This project is contributing to India's goal of generating 40% of its electricity through renewable resources by 2030.
